How do I place an order?
Four ways: send the form on this page, call (530) 783-7211, text (530) 354-0173, or just buy from us at either downtown market. For anything big, ordering ahead is the only way to be sure.
Why are there no prices on the menu?
Because batch and jar sizes shift through the season, and a stale price on a web page is worse than no price at all. Call (530) 783-7211 or ask at either market and you will get the real number for what you want.
How much notice do you need?
A few days is comfortable for a party pack or a large order, and holiday weeks book out early. For a jar or a few tamales, come and find us at the market — no notice needed at all.
Can I mix tamales in one dozen?
Yes. Pork, chicken, veggie and sweet in whatever combination you like across a dozen. Most party packs go out mixed.
Do I pay when I send the form?
No. Nothing is charged on this website. The form starts the conversation — we come back to confirm quantities, the price and where to collect it, and you pay us when you pick it up.
Where do I collect my order?
Either downtown market, or we will arrange it with you on the phone. Both market times and spots are here.
Do orders count toward the Salsa Club?
They do — every one of them. Joining is free, you get a free sample for signing up, free chips and salsa at five orders, and your eleventh order free at ten.
Is this the same as catering?
No. This form is for food you collect and serve yourself. If you want us at your event serving it, that is catering — different page, different quote.
