Thursday Night Market
The big one. Downtown Chico closes the street and over two hundred vendors fill it — produce, makers, food and live music — and we are out there with the canopy up and the steamer going.
Thursday Night Market is the closest thing Chico has to a weekly festival, and it is the easiest place to find us with a crowd around you. Come hungry: tamales are hot and ready to eat on the spot, jars of salsa go in your bag, and the sweet pineapple ones are the best walking dessert on the street.
- Come early if you want a specific tamale — the pork goes first.
- We take jar orders at the booth for pickup on Saturday.
- Newsletter members: show your welcome email here for the free bean dip.
