Weddings & quinceañeras
A tamale bar is a warmer, more personal thing than a plated dinner, and it feeds a big room fast. Trays of pork, chicken and veggie with all three salsas on the table.

Two things happen on this page. You can book us to feed your event — wedding, birthday, company lunch, community day — or, if you run a market or festival, you can book us as a food vendor at yours. Tell us which below and we will come straight back with a quote.
We cater across Chico, Butte County and the neighboring North State counties. If your event is not on this list, ask anyway — the answer is usually yes.

The order most people start with. Dozens by the tray, bean dip and chips out first, and a sweet dozen at the end that nobody sees coming.
Team lunches, appreciation days, harvest crews and open houses. Tamales hold heat well, so a room can eat over an hour without anything going cold or sad.
Church events, fundraisers, school functions, sports banquets and block parties across Chico and Butte County. We are local, and we price like it.
Organisers: we are a working market vendor every week of the year, with our own canopy, our own setup and our own following. Tell us your dates.
Tamales are what people in this valley bring when it matters. Tell us the day and the number and we will handle the food quietly and properly.
People use the same word for both and they are not the same job. Here is the difference, so you can pick the right one on the form.
You have an event and a headcount. We build a menu around your guests, bring the food, set it out, and keep it hot. You get a per-head quote up front. Weddings, parties, company lunches, community days.
You run a market, festival, fair or fundraiser and you want good food on site. We turn up with our own canopy, our own setup and our own following, and we sell to your crowd. Tell us your dates and your vendor terms.
The cheapest of the three. Tamales by the dozen with salsas and bean dip, packed to travel, ready when you said you would be there. No staff, no setup. See how party packs work.
Date, rough headcount, where it is, and whether you want food delivered or us there serving. The form below or a phone call, either is fine.
We will talk you through quantities and heat levels, work around dietary needs, and tell you honestly what suits your guests.
A clear number before anything is locked in. Quotes are free and there is no deposit conversation until you know the price.
For catering we bring it and set it out. For a party pack you pick it up ready to go. Either way, on time.
The more you can tell us, the better the quote. Date, rough headcount and where it is gets us most of the way there — and if you do not know all of it yet, send what you have.
Would rather just talk? Call (530) 783-7211 or text (530) 354-0173. We answer the phone 11:00am – 7:00pm, seven days a week.
Tell us what you need and we will come back with a free quote.

From Chico locals who found us at the market.
I’ve tried salsas all over Chico, but nothing beats the rich, smoky flavor of the Red Roasted. The tamales are just like the ones my grandma used to make — full of flavor and so comforting. Every visit is a treat!
Stopped by on a whim and now I’m hooked! The Verde Hot Salsa has the perfect kick, and the Sweet Pineapple Tamales are my new favorite dessert. You can taste the love in every bite.
The veggie tamales are a lifesaver for my family get-togethers — everyone loves them, even the meat-eaters! Always fresh, always delicious. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real homemade flavor.
We know food has to look as good as it tastes. Every batch is prepared with care — and if you are not satisfied, we will go the extra mile to make it right.
One email a month — where to find us, what is new, and one recipe from our kitchen. Join and your first bean dip is free, claimed at either market. No purchase, no catch.
As early as you can, especially for weekends, wedding season and December. Call with your date as soon as you have it and we will tell you honestly whether it is open.
Anything from a family gathering up to a full community event. Tell us your headcount when you get in touch and we will confirm what it takes and what it costs.
Catering means we bring the food and set it out at your event. A party pack means you collect it ready to serve and handle it yourself — cheaper, and perfect if you just need a lot of good food in one place. More on party packs.
Yes — across Butte County, Glenn and Tehama counties: Paradise, Durham, Oroville, Gridley, Orland, Willows, Corning, Red Bluff and the towns between. If it is a reasonable drive, ask.
Send us your dates, your location and your vendor terms through the form on this page and we will come back to you. We are a working market vendor every week of the year, with our own canopy, our own setup and our own following.
Vegetarian tamales are on our table most weeks and a genuinely mild salsa always is. Tell us in advance and we will work around what we can — and we will tell you plainly when we cannot, because we cook in one family kitchen.
It depends on headcount, menu and location, which is why every quote is individual and every quote is free. Send the details and we will come back with a number.
